--"Born 1981. Ryan Trecartin is an innovative video artist who creates phantasmagorical media installations that explore contemporary issues and concerns. His work has been exhibited widely, most recently at the Elizabeth Dee Gallery, New York, the Hammer Museum, Los Angeles, Calif., Wexner Center for the Arts, Columbus, Ohio, and QED, Los Angeles, Calif.
